WHAT TO EXPECT AT VICTORY INTERNATIONAL...

Q3VISITING A NEW CHURCH CAN BE INTIMIDATING

Most people have questions when thinking about visiting a new church, such as...

  • Will I feel welcome?
  • What should I wear?
  • Do they have anything for my kids?

WHEN ARE THE SERVICES?

QA3WHEN ARE THE SERVICES?

  • We have services in five different languages.
  • Click the Service Times link on the homepage for a list of all services.
  • The English Sunday morning service is at 10:30.

IS THERE PARKING?

QA3IS THERE PARKING?

  • We have ample parking in front and to the side of the church.
  • We also have a large parking lot just two houses down the street with a church sign pointing to our parking space.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR

QA3BE YOURSELF

  • The dress is casual. Some like to dress up while others feel more comfortable wearing modest casual clothes.
  • What you wear is not important to us. Being there is what matters.
  • We're thrilled to have you join us and you will fit in no matter what you wear.

WILL I FEEL WELCOME?

QA3EVERYONE MATTERS

  • You will be warmly welcomed to join in our services. Our welcome goes beyond just a friendly handshake.
  • We invite you to become part of our multicultural community of believers who genuinely love each other.
  • People from different cultural, racial, economical and generational backgrounds make up our church community.
  • We take seriously Christ's words:
"By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:35)

WHAT ARE THE SERVICES LIKE?

QA3

Experience God

Our prayerful goal is that everyone who attends our services will experience the presence of God through times of:

  • prayer
  • worship
  • preaching from God's Word

 THE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

  • Our purpose is to celebrate the goodness and greatness of God.
  • There will be many times of celebration but also times for quiet reflection.
  • Our music style is primarily contemporary with some mix of traditional songs and hymns.

TIMES OF PRAYER

  • We often have a prayer time where people who desire to are allowed to share their prayer requests. After the prayer needs are expressed, we all join together in prayer with one of the pastors leading in prayer.
  • We believe it is important to have the prayer support of others, that we are not to bear our burdens alone.
  • At times, we conclude our services with an invitation to come to the altars for a time of prayer.

PREACHING

  • Pastor Ron Thorington, who is our lead pastor, is our most frequent speaker. Our other pastors, who speak occassionally, are also excellent preachers.
  • Pastor Ron has a preaching style that is not only inspirational but also informational. You can follow his sermon outlines on handout sheets included in the bulletin and seen on the projection screen.
  • For over 45 years of preaching, Pastor Ron has been true to God's Word and uncompromising in preaching biblical truth in a spirit of love and grace.
  • You can hear Pastor Ron's sermons by clicking on the PODCAST link on the homepage.
  • As you listen to the sermons (via Podcast) you can also follow the outlines provided in PDF files listed with the sermon
